Cellphones in class

Ever wanted to do this? I know I have…

Even though it seems a little scripted - no audible reaction from any of the students including the offender.

Definately looks planned in some way…that would definately have gotten a reaction from the students but since we cant see the faces it’s hard to tell.  I definately would like to do it; particularly when they actually answer the phone in class.  My solution…i keep their phone for a week if i hear it:)

I wouldn’t keep their phones (my students are university age) but I do suggest that I might. In one class i took the battery off of a phone and then at the end of class auctioned off to any student who wanted an extra battery.
